Any restaurants with unsold/unused food items will set them aside and call for a pickup using our application
According to schedule, our delivery service will arrive at the locations of participating restaurants and retrieve the unused food
The food will be brought to food banks, storage facilities or other areas where it can be repurposed.
Our product will have the ability to display a live view of a map of delivery trucks and locations.
The product will allow access to personal statistics, such as the amount of food saved, number of pick-ups, and more.
Based on the amount of food saved and delivered by the participating companies, they will be able to reach incentives. These incentives will benefit the company personally, such as shoutouts, advertisements, and more.

"Food waste refers to food that completes the food
supply chain up to a final product, of good quality
and fit for consumption, but still doesn't get
consumed because it is discarded, whether or not
after it is left to spoil or expire"

Each individual's actions affect our planet's environment.
While in a home, you might make too much food and throw it out. The same concept is applied to
grocery stores
and restaurants. Consider a grocery store company size. If each location ends up with lots of food
waste at the end
of the day, how much would you think is thrown out by the entire company? A lot of the time, this
food is still good
and edible. Second Chance Servings is an innovative way to reuse food waste and ultimately giving
the food and
our customers a second chance.
